A 77 km transmission system from the Al Hamriyah plant to Al Falaj station with a total investment of AED 645 million (US$175.6 million), including an 8 km 1,600 mm pipeline from Al Houma to Al Falaj at AED 105.5 million (US$28.7 million) targeted for completion before the end of 2025; the wider programme, with reservoirs and pumping stations at Al Zubair, Al Badi and Al Burair holding 180 million gallons, is due to complete in the third quarter of 2027; the Al Hamriyah plant is to produce up to 90 million gallons a day.
