• JordanArab Countries Water Utilities Association (ACWUA) — Capacity Building programmeTwo certification streams for utility staff: multi-level operator certification with TVSDC and WPI in water treatment, distribution, water quality and laboratories, water safety planning, non-revenue water, wastewater collection and treatment and industrial wastewater management; and ACWUA-certified managerial courses in water governance, utility leadership, GIS applications and wastewater systems, plus an e-learning platform.

• KuwaitKuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) — Water Research CenterA national research centre and focal point for KISR's research, policy and technical services on Kuwait's water needs, working on desalination technology, replenishment of water reserves, wastewater reclamation and optimisation of freshwater distribution networks, rather than an open course programme.
• LebanonAmerican University of Beirut — Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Maroun Semaan Faculty of Engineering and ArchitectureA Master of Engineering in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering offered on either a thesis or a non-thesis track, with students specialising in environmental engineering or water resources engineering and minoring in the other, plus a PhD in the same field.
• Saudi ArabiaKing Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) — Water Desalination and Reuse Research Platform (formerly the Water Desalination and Reuse Center, WDRC)A research platform on desalination, wastewater treatment and water reuse rather than a course provider; graduate training runs through KAUST's MS and PhD degrees in Environmental Science and Engineering, with the platform hosting the labs and supervisors.
