An independent water knowledge platform

What this platform is

MENA Water Review combines two things that usually live apart. One is reference-grade country and topic knowledge in the tradition of the great water encyclopedias. The other is market intelligence: tracked projects, tenders, funders and infrastructure data for the professionals who build and finance the region's water future.

It serves both audiences deliberately. Researchers, students, journalists and policymakers use the country reports, knowledge hubs and atlas. Companies, consultancies and financiers use the major projects register, the PPP pipeline and the dashboards. Everything is open access.

Our model

All content is authored in-house by MENA Water Review, compiled from public and published sources: ministry statistics, development-bank documents, peer-reviewed literature and reputable trade press. Every country hub and map cites its sources; the full approach is documented on the Methodology & sources page.

The platform is independent. It currently carries no sponsorship or advertising; if sponsors are introduced in the future, every relationship will be disclosed on the page it supports, with a strict no-editorial-influence rule.

Data & updates

The projects register and tender tracker are reviewed and updated on a regular cycle from public sources; each data page shows when its data was last refreshed. Country hubs are revised as major projects, policies or datasets change.
