- The operator's own page: water is drawn from the Continental Intercalaire aquifer through forty-seven deep boreholes about 70 km north of In Salah, treated in six reverse osmosis demineralisation stations, gathered in a 50,000 m3 head reservoir and moved 746 km to Tamanrasset through 1,254,765 linear metres of welded steel pipe between 700 mm and 1,400 mm, lifted by six pumping stations and stored in a 50,000 m3 terminal reservoir, with 1,468,500 m of fibre optic for remote management; 100,000 m3 a day are transferred, serving In Salah, Arak, Menier, Moulay Hassan, In Ekker and In Amguel on the way.
