- The contractor's own sheet gives a straight gravity dam in roller-compacted concrete on the El-Kebir river, 118 m high, 714 m crest, 1.6 million m3 of roller-compacted concrete and 1.9 million m3 of concrete in all, 963 hm3 of reservoir, for water supply, irrigation and flood control, and the largest roller-compacted concrete dam in the world when built.
