- Note 2(c) records that in January 2003 the company bought Ras Abu Fontas A, Al Wajbah, Al Saliyah and Doha South Super from Kahramaa for QAR 600 million in total, and states that "The Company discontinued the operations of the Ras Abu Fontas 'A' station (RAF A) with effect from 31 December 2017". The projects section states that "At the request of Kahramaa, the Ras Abu Fontas A station was demolished due to its age and poor performance, to build a new power and water plant in its place", which is the Facility E project already held in the register.

- states that the first phase of the Raf A facility was commissioned in 1977 and the station was finally completed in 1993 with an electricity generating capacity of 497 MW and a desalination plant capable of producing 55 MIGD; its Table 1 of installed capacities at Ras Abu Fontas gives Raf A as 500 MW and 55 MIGD and Raf B1 as 380 MW with no water, and its Table of intake flows gives Raf A 125,000 m3/h.
