Plant capacities are Baghdad Water Authority figures as of April 2006. Al-Doura WTP on the Karkh side is listed at 115,000 m3/day designed and 100,000 m3/day actual, completed in 1980, connected to the distribution mains in zone K10, with the automatic chlorine system not working. It is the fourth Karkh-side plant in the same table as Karkh, Qadisiya and Karama, all three of which the register already holds. Coordinates added on 20 September 2026 from OpenStreetMap way 1528999966, named Dora Water Plant and tagged as an industrial water works, at 33.2610 44.3830. Reverse geocoding returns the Karkh district of Baghdad, matching the JICA table, and the site lies 0.31 km from the Tigris, which a river intake requires.
