The agreement describes a thin arch concrete dam about 190 m high creating a reservoir of about 3,350 million m3, an underground powerhouse designed for four 65 MW units with two installed at the outset, a 230 kV double-circuit line of about 166 km to Ahwaz with 132 kV and 33 kV secondary lines, and a pilot irrigation scheme for about 20,000 ha on the left bank south of Dezful ahead of a possible further 90,000 ha.
