Client the Sistan and Baluchestan Province Water and Wastewater Company for the supply of potable water to the city of Chabahar, financed by the Export Development Bank of Iran. Phase I awarded 2011, ten months to start-up, ten-year contract, contractual 15,000 m3/day and final nominal 17,500 m3/day; phase II awarded 2013 on the same terms and capacities; phase III awarded 2022, 24 months to start-up, contract to 2038, contractual 20,000 m3/day and final nominal 22,500 m3/day. Feed water is taken from the Sea of Oman through a direct intake, dosed with flocculant, passed through gravity sand filters to a tank, then cartridge filters and the SWRO units by pumping station; the permeate goes by pump station and transfer pipeline to a concrete tank and into the Chabahar and Konarak distribution network. The page's headline figure of 62,500 m3/day matches neither the sum of the contractual capacities nor the sum of the final nominal capacities.
